SpringFire

Online Ordering

Take orders online, paid and ready to prepare.

Give customers a storefront for your products. They choose pickup or delivery, pay online or at the counter, and can schedule an order for later. Orders arrive on a live board with the stock already held, and customers are kept informed as you accept, prepare and hand over.

  • Orders that arrive paid

Card orders reach your board only once payment has gone through, so you aren't preparing orders nobody pays for.

  • One live queue

New, preparing, ready and scheduled orders on one board that updates as orders arrive, with a notification for each new one.

  • Stock and fulfilment in step

Stock is held when an order is placed and released if it's abandoned, and delivery orders go straight to your dispatch board.

How it works

  1. Browse and order

Customers open your storefront from a link or QR code, choose products and options, and pick pickup or delivery.

  2. Pay

They pay by card online, or at the counter if you allow it.

  3. Prepare

Accept the order on the live board. The customer is emailed, and a workflow for that product can start.

  4. Hand over

Mark it ready for pickup or send it out for delivery; completing it records the stock as sold.

What you can do with Online Ordering

Your storefront

Your catalogue with categories, product options and images, shared by a link or a QR code that keeps working if you rename your page.

  • Import products from a spreadsheet.
  • Mark products as pickup only where delivery doesn't make sense.
  • Clients with a SpringFire login can order from their account, with their details filled in.

Payment first, or at the counter

Customers pay by card into your own Stripe account, and the order appears on your board once payment has gone through. If you allow it, customers can choose to pay at the counter; those orders appear straight away, marked unpaid. SpringFire takes no commission.

Orders for later

Let customers schedule an order for a future time, using slots built from your trading hours. Scheduled orders have their own tab, you're reminded before one is due, and a pre-order nobody accepts expires at its pickup time.

A live order board

New, preparing, ready and scheduled orders on one board that updates as orders arrive, and refreshes on its own if the live connection drops. Each new order raises a notification and an email to your business. Accept, decline or mark an order ready with one click.

Customers kept informed

Customers get a confirmation email and a tracking page. They're emailed again when you accept the order, when it's ready for pickup, and if it's declined, cancelled, expires or is refunded.

Pickup and delivery

Offer pickup from your stock locations, or delivery to the suburbs you cover with a fee for each. Delivery needs online payment, and delivery orders land on your dispatch board for your own drivers.
